I can't make any promises that I won't embarrass the fuck outta you if you bring her around, but if you're willing to take that risk, then I'd love to see you and meet her. You've got a couple nieces you need to meet, too. And Vicky has been dying to meet you. I don't know if it's because she wants to see how much more sane I am than you are, but she's curious nonetheless.
Everybody is back at school and work, so we can't do weekdays. If you want to come down on a weekend then we can definitely make plans. Have you gone to see meemaw's grave? I have some things of hers for you. It's just some old pictures and shit, but I know she wanted you to have them.

I've only ever seen the world in black and white, light and dark, with little variation in between. Grey scale applied when I tried to make sense of my own darkness, searching for the light in the choices I've made and the paths I've taken. I spent five solid years in a colorless void that no light could permeate. And even when I finally stepped back out into the light, I was the darkness.
